Spa Operations Manager

The Red Door Salon & Spa is currently accepting resumes for a highly qualified Spa Operations Manager.


As Spa Operations Manager at The Red Door, you will be a vital partner in the management of one of our iconic spa and salons, focusing on the daily administration of human resources, inventory, and other operations functions as well as enforcing Company policies and procedures.

 Human Resources Administration

  • Establish and maintain employee personnel files and maintain strict confidentiality

  • Place job postings and assist with recruiting events

  • Process all aspects of employee on-boarding and off-boarding, including new hire paperwork and terminations; coordinate New Hire Orientation

  • Document work-related injuries; maintain files of worker's compensation injury reports, customer liability incidents, and OSHA logs

  • Assist in reviewing and preparing weekly work schedules and approving service schedule changes and requests for time off to ensure adequate coverage

  • Review and prepare payroll information working with Payroll Department

 Spa Administration

  • Complete inventory duties accurately and efficiently

  • Key holder and perform managerial responsibilities in the absence of GM/AGM/GSM

  • Perform opening and closing duties as needed, following established procedures

  • Coordinate incentive awards and special events

  • Schedule and coordinate training programs

  • Maintain effective work relationships with Corporate departments and assist with special projects

  • Perform additional projects or duties as assigned by the General Manager

  • Handle R&M issues, including Service Channel orders, and landlord/building communications


  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience

  • Excellent organizational, detail, analytical and problem solving/conflict resolution skills

  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA and Worker's Compensation regulations

  • Motivated, professional individual with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner with all levels of personnel

  • Ability to accurately meet deadlines and perform independently in a team environment with minimal supervision

  • Strong time management skills, with ability to meet constant deadlines and handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to multi-task successfully and adapt to rapid change

  • Ability to build employee trust and maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Regularly requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy when interacting with those encountered in the course of work, some of whom may be demanding, dissatisfied or upset

  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
