Program Supervisor (LMSW)

Hope For Youth is hiring a Program Supervisor for our PINS Diversion Program.

The Case Manager Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct administrative supervision to 5 case planners in accordance with agency and program guidelines. The Supervisor will support and report to the Assistant Program Director and also:

  • Meet weekly for supervision to review the service plan and progress being made

  • Utilize the CANS NY as the central focus of their supervision to determine which services are working and where changes need to be made.

  • Review all progress notes and reports completed by the case planners.

  • Be assigned cases as needed.

  • Supervise 5 Case Planners and up to 100 cases at any time for a total of up to 200 cases open within the program.

  • LMSW

  • 4 years experience as a supervisor for case managers

  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate program

  • Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Nassau County and to meetings/trainings in Suffolk, as needed

  • Participate in treatment team, case review, and other meetings

  • Work collaboratively with referral resources and any other agency working with the family and the court

  • Work as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

  • Provide support for other projects and locations; travel as needed

  • Knowledge of child serving systems

  • Experience with adolescents necessary

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
